• CVC Capital Partners Asia Pacific II LP has set a new benchmark for Asian mega funds, which closed at US$1.95 billion

Investments

• There were 98 investments, amounting to US$5.1 billion in commitments
• the number of transactions, however, declined by 23% over January to June last year

Divestments

87 divestments were recorded, a 32% increase on the same period in 2004.
