  • For the first time since 2003, buyouts funds, at US$2.63 billion, are no longer dominating Asian private equity's fund pool

  • A transaction total of over US$18.76 billion has been recorded, representing a 2.7-fold increase compared to the US$6.95 billion in the same period in 2005
  • 176 deals are known to have completed

Divestments
  
  • A total of 78 divestment processes are known to have been initiated during the first half of 2006
