Microfinancier to Launch 2nd Fund

Aavishkaar Goodwell India Microfinance Development Company Ltd. reportedly plans to set up its second microfinance fund in India with a target size of US$100 million. Its first fund was raised in 2008. (India)



Low Carbon Fund Launched

Hua Au Capital is reportedly in the process of setting up a low carbon fund with a target fund size of up to Rmb1 billion (US$146.3 million). The fund has enlisted China Venture Capital Co., Ltd. as one of its investors. (People's Republic of China)




Infinity's Infinite Fund Pool Plan

Infinity I-China announces its ten-year plan to launch six new joint venture private equity funds in collaboration with a host of major cities in China, including Beijing, Suzhou and Tianjin. CDF-Changyuan Pengneng Investment Fund Launched

KDB-TStone Private Equity Fund has launched a tender offer to acquire a minority stake in Swedish company Anoto Group AB ('Anoto') for SEK138.9 million (US$19.6 million). Anoto engages in the development of digital pen and paper technology. (Offshore)




Mayfield Fund and SIDBI Venture in Fourcee Infrastructure

Mayfield Fund and SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd. have invested an aggregate 500 million rupees (US$11 million) in Fourcee Infrastructure Equipment Pvt. Ltd. The latter focuses on providing end-to-end logistics solutions for liquid cargo transport. (India)

AMEC Receives 4th Round Financing from Consortium

Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment, Inc. has raised US$46 million from a consortium of investors including Shanghai Venture Capital Co. Ltd., Walden International, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Goldman Sachs. Since 2004, the semiconductor equipment company has raised an aggregate over US$150 million from financial investors. ChrysCapital Concludes Its Interest in Zydus

ChrysCapital has sold its entire stake in Zydus Wellness Ltd. and returned 177.3 million rupees (US$3.9 million) to its coffers. The sale concluded an investment held for less than a year. (India)
